Fun day raises funds for Angus mental health charity

Customers at Letham’s Commercial Inn recently gave their backing to an Angus mental health charity with a donation of more than £2000.

The pub regula rs recently gathered for a fun day and barbecue in the pub garden.

To help raise the funds barmaid Charlie had her head shaved and the local band Bob & Marco performed, but donated their fee. There were also games and a prize raffle.

The pub’s football team all contributed to help raise the funds for Reach Across, which is based in Arbroath.

The charity will hold a local talent concert, the Be You concert, at the Webster Theatre in Arbroath on Saturday, September 10.

Tickets are available from the theatre box office and funds raised will go to the charity’s funds.
