The 2011 Pantomime at the Webster Theatre, Arbroath, is Puss in Boots.

Puss in Boots promises to be the highlight of the year and will definitely appeal to the whole family, whether you are three years old or 103 years old!

The show will be presented/produced by Bruce James Productions, written by Philip Meeks, who also wrote last year’s smash hit ‘Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs’, and directed by Bruce James.

The pantomime will be starring Edward Reid (from ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent) as ‘Dame Doris Dimple’; Pamela Byrne (from BBC Scotland’s River City) as ‘Princess Heather’; Donna Hazelton (Winner of Channel 4’s Musicality), back by Public Demand, as the ‘Wicked Witch Wysteria’; Graeme Waggott from the TAY AM Morning Show, Wake Up With Waggy as ‘King Ferdinand’ and Gordon Brandie as ‘Donald the Daftie’.

It runs for 31 performances from Friday , December 9 to Wednesday, December 28 .

There will be some fantastic singing and dancing and a large dose of comedy, sparkle,magic and spectacle thrown in for good measure!

Tickets are already on sale and going fast.

The show is looking for youngsters who would like to share the wonderful experience of taking part in a professional pantomime.

Bruce James Productions and Angus Council will be holding auditions on Sunday, October 16 at the Webster Theatre, Arbroath from 11 am.

Two teams of juveniles dancers are needed who must be at least Grade 3 or higher in dancing (ballet or modern, or both).

There are also two teams of intermediate dancers needed, who must be at least

Grade 5 or higher in dancing (ballet or modern, or both).

If you are interested, you are asked to arrive promptly and wear appropriate dancewear and shoes.

Parents are welcome to wait in the foyer but will not be allowed in the theatre whilst the audition takes place.

Please make sure you are available between Wednesday,November 28 and Wednesday , December 28 (inclusive) and that your parents agree to the commitment you are making, before you attend.
