TOLSTOY’S tragic tale of love and marriage in imperial Russia takes tot he stage at Dundee Rep Theatre ths week, running until Saturday, June 11.

This epic tale of sex, duty, marriage and moral regeneration is till as powerful and current today as it was when first published in 1873.

Adapted by Jo Clifford and directed by associate director Jemima Levick, the Rep’s ensemble brings you a timeless play.

Ensemble member Emily Winter plays the lead role, John Buick her husband Karenin, Tony McGeever her illicit lover Alexis and Kevin Lennon plays Constantin Levin.

Anna Karenina is the last ensemble production of the spring season and see Ann Lousie Ross back with the company after touring with Sunshine on Leith and Age of Arousal.
