Macbeth at Glamis

GLAMIS Castle has announced details of a summer long programme of events.

As well as the popular Prom at Glamis, which takes place this year on Saturday, August 11, there will be an open-air performance of Shakespeare’s Macbeth which is brought to life in the appropriate, historical surroundings on Saturday, August 25.

Shakespeare’s most popular play will be performed in the foreground of Glamis Castle by vibrant theatre company ‘The Lord Chamberlain’s Men.’

With a reputation for presenting bold, clear and dynamic performances, it promises to be a wonderful evening. Offering ambition, murder deceit and high drama, sit back with a picnic and enjoy this Shakespearean classic.
