ARARE performance of Arthur Miller’s first Broadway play – ‘The Man Who Had All the Luck’ – is to be staged at Aberdeen’s Lemon Tree Studio for one night only on Wednesday, October 10.

This is the first Scottish tour of the play, from multi-award-winning Sell A Door Theatre Company in association with the acclaimed Mull Theatre.

Famed playwright Arthur Miller once described his work as having the American dream as its background, with the American nightmare at its foreground.

The play tells the story of 1930s US smalltown motor mechanic David Beeves (played by Stephen Bisland) who is blessed with good fortune while his family and friends face difficult times. Yet the more success he achieves, the more guilty, depressed and paranoid David feels about the plight of those around him and he begins to wonder what will happen when his luck runs out .
