GILDED Balloon, one of the top venues for comedy on the Edinburgh Fringe, is back to blow the roof off the Gardyne Theatre in Dundee next month.

Dundee won’t know what’s hit it after these comedians shake things up and bring down the house. One of the most popular, and certainly most successful, of modern-day Scottish comedians. Vladimir McTavish serves up a delightful feast of social observation and topical satire, seasoned with his caustic wit and presented via a platter of breakneck-pace patter.

Bec Hill possesses a refreshing blend of charm, whimsy and infectious enthusiasm, which has gained a cult-following in Australia and the UK. What makes her unique is her skilful ability to bring her “arts and craft” imagination to life on stage. Ray Bradshaw has quickly gained a reputation as one of the funniest and most exciting new acts on the Scottish comedy scene. Having made his comedy debut in September 2008, Ray is already a double Scottish Comedian of The Year finalist. Keara Murphy is glam and glittery and exudes Glaswegian charm, best known for her canny impersonations of female celebrities, character comedy creations and her mischievous stories and observations on life.

The show is on Saturday, February 23.

Tickets are available from the box office on 01382 434 940.
