Summer line-up at Monikie

A great summer of entertainment is lined up for Monikie Hall, with music to suit all tastes lined up for the next few months.

Paula MacAskill, Scotland’s award-winning vocalist and recording artist, starts the season on Saturday, May 21.

She will perform a selection of traditional, country, Irish, Scottish and modern music.

Next up on Friday, June 10 is Sean Wilson, who began his musical career at the age of ten when his father bought him his first accordion.

He joined the family band playing local venues and further afield before launching his career on the global market.

He plays gigs all across England, Scotland, and Ireland with a few trips to the USA and Australia.

The ever-popular Alexander Brothers are in concert on Saturday, July 2 followed by Patsy and Country breeze on Friday, July 29.

Philomena Begley, another favourite, will play at Monikie Hall on Friday, August 5 followed by Isla Grant and Mick Flavin on Saturday, September 10 and Friday, September 30 respectively.
