Scottish Variety

THE Angus Accordion & Fiddle festival committee is presenting a Scottish Variety Show in the Reid Hall, Forfar on Thursday, July 5, starting at 7.30 pm.

The show is to feature the Lomond Ceilidh Band, singer Scott Gardiner, fiddler Karen Hannah, piper Kyle McIntyre, accordionists The Burns Brothers and Leonard Brown with drummer Malcom Ross.

The compere for the evening is Eddie Rose. Tickets are £10 and £12 (balcony) and are available from the Toy Castle Forfar, Music Box, Blairgowrie and Adagio Music in Brechin. The concert is the start of four days of celebrations for the Angus Accordion and Fiddle Festival, which marks its tenth anniversary this year. The music then moves to Arbroath with concerts, dances and pub sessions in the town running through to Sunday.
