Rare visit from the Monster

THE Monster Ceilidh Band are to make a rare visit to Hospitalfield, Arbroath on Saturday, March 26 as part of a tour to promote their latest album.

The Newcastle contemporary folk group, well known for their irresistible cutting edge take on ceilidh music, promise a fun night of listening and dancing. They are Amy Thatcher (accordion/caller), Carly Blain (fiddle), Kieran Szifris (mandocello), and David dela Haye (electric bass). They have taken their cross-genre ceilidh music all over the world, entertaining generations new and old whilst retaining the true spirit of ceilidh dancing – getting up and having a party.
