Planning for future of traditional music

Have your say

AFTER a successful year of traditional music sessions in villages and towns all over Angus, TradAngus is inviting all members (and anyone else with an interest) to it annual general meeting.

The AGM takes place in Three Bellies Brae, Kirriemuir, on Sunday, March 27 at 3pm. Items on the agenda will be the election of a committee as well as discussions about upcoming events.

During its first year TradAngus delivered an extensive programme of traditional music sessions during the summer in cooperation with Tayroots, as well as contributed song and music to the Angus St Andrews Day Festival programme.

The agm will be followed by songs and tunes in the pub, so remember to bring your instruments. And of course, anyone is invited to go along and join in with a tune or a song or just sit back, listen and enjoy.
