In celebration of another successful season, the House of Dun near Montrose will open its doors for an evening of classical music on Saturday, October 11, at 7 p.m.
Classically trained pianist Felicity Sim will revisit her hometown following her studies at Trinity Music College in London, for an enchanting piano performance.
Felicity will perform a captivating programme that will include Ludwig Van Beethoven’s ‘Apassionata’, Edvard Grieg’s ‘Piano Sonata’ and works by Rachmaninoff and Debussy.
Before studying at Trinity Music College, she attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama where she found a love of chamber music and vocal repertoire through collaborations with fellow students and masterclasses with accomplished musicians. This led her to Trinity to study for a Postgraduate Diploma in Piano Accompaniment. She graduated in 2010 with a high distinction in performance.
Doors for the concert will open at 6.30 p.m. and pre-booking is recommended. Tickets, costing £12 for adults and £10 for concessions, are available online at www.nts.org.uk or by telephoning 01674 903296.
