There is another packed programme on offer at the Caird Hall, Dundee, as highlighted in their new brochure which has just been released.
The 60s, 70s and 80s are celebrated with the most popular of music shows.
It is 50 years since The Beatles first performed at the Caird Hall in October 1963 on the tour where the term ‘Beatlemania’ was coined.
All their hit music is celebrated in the Magic of the Beatles on October 5.
In a statement issued by the Caird Hall and Dundee City Box Office staff, they say: “Paul Weller has chosen Dundee as one of only 10 venues on his autumn tour and we are delighted to welcome the return of the Modfather.
“Add to this Classical Concerts, comedians, ballet, seasonal concerts and there is something for everyone and so much not to be missed.”
The new season begins on Thursday, October 3 with the Scottish Ensemble’s ‘From Russia with Love’.
On Friday, October 4 the Drifters will visit Dundee as part of their 60th Anniversary Diamond Dynasty Tour,
On Saturday, October 5 the No 1 hits golden anniversary tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of their very first number one is celebrated with The Magic of The Beatles.

On Thursday, November 7, Moscow Ballet present Sleeping Beauty and The Magic of the Bee Gees ensures it’s Saturday Night Fever - every night of the week when the Bee Gees’ entire glittering songbook is wrapped up in one spectacular concert on Friday, November 8.
