THE JOHNNY Cash Roadshow, a show not to be missed by avid fans or the casual listener, rolls in to the Webster Memorial Theatre, Arbroath on Saturday, April 13 at 7.30 p.m.
The UK’s No 1 Tribute, fronted by respected singer/songwriter Clive John, with The Spirit Band, re-create with astounding accuracy and truly capture the essence of what it was like to be at a real Cash show.
Featuring Jill Schoonjans as June Carter, all aspects of Cash’s life are covered with impeccable taste.
The show takes the audience from the 1950’s right up to 2002 and all the stops in between.
All the greatest hits are included, Ring of Fire, Walk the Line as well as the Johnny and June duets Jackson and If I Were a Carpenter and so many more, all the while accompanied by an amazing video back drop with evocative images and shots from Johnny Cash’s life.
This is the only show to be endorsed by the Cash family so it is guaranteed to be a night to remember.

The music at the Webster Memorial Theatre continues through April with the Angus Strathspey & Reel Society’s fiddlers’ rally on Saturday, April 20 at 7.30 p.m. The evening will be compered by Robert Lovie and the evening’s guest is accordionist Wayne Robertson.
This is followed on Friday, April 27 at 7.30 p.m. with An Evening at the Arbroath Proms, directed by James Hutcheson and musical director Richard Allan. This will consist of a well-known mixture of classical, film and musical music featuring The Friends Chorus with guest soloists and dancers. proceeds from this concert will go to Macmillan Nurses and C.H.A.S.
