ZIMBABWE’S greatest ambassadors, Black Umfolosi, will perform music inspired by the traditional song and dance of their native southern Africa at Dundee Rep Theatre on Tuesday, October 4.

Their trademark harmonies mixed with intricate rhythms, clicking and clapping are highlighted during their brilliantly choreographed show.

Black Umfolosi are an internationally acclaimed multi-discipline performing arts group specialising in harmonic acappella singing and traditional African dance.

The original members have developed their skills and their organisation to a point where the 18 members provide a multitude of services in the performing arts industry in Zimbabwe and internationally.

They tour extensively in the UK, Australia, Asia, Europe, Canada and the USA and have released a number of recordings that feature singing styles of Imbube, Mbaqanga and Township songs.
