Now in its eighth year, ‘ARTSYLAND’ is one of the most popular exhibitions at Wall Projects in Montrose, run by local artist Kim Canale.

It brings together an exciting showcase of new graduates’ work from the four main Scottish art schools.

It includes a diverse range of innovative art practices, sometimes challenging but always engaging, and a wonderful opportunity to view and buy a new art star of the future.

Many of the artists who have previously shown at ‘ARTSYLAND’ have gone on to become well-known names in the art world.

Two of the artists in this year’s show have been long-listed for the Saatchi New Sensations in London 2014.

Unfortunately, the Glasgow School of Art will not be taking part this year due to the terrible fire that ravaged the building earlier this year.

However, this is still a show not to be missed.

The exhibition opened on Saturday and runs until Saturday, October 4.

It is staged in the next exhibition space - Wall Projects II - at the Old Rope Works, 13 Bents Road, Montrose, DD10 8QA.
