ANOTHER “donkey” dance is to be held in the Plough Inn, Forfar on Saturday, November 5 to raise funds for the Mountains Animal Sanctuary at Glenogil, near Forfar.
The Strathmore Ceilidh Band will provide music for the Scottish dancers, and Vikki will again supply music for the line dancers - so there’s no excuse for not getting up on the floor for a good cause!
Entry will be by ticket only and as there is always a full house it would be advisable to purchase them early.
They are priced at £8 which includes a stovie supper.
They are available from Margaret Smith on (01307) 468 648 and at the Toy Castle, Castle Street, Forfar.
In the past the “donkey dances” have raised over £1,000 for the animal sanctuary, the largest centre for permanent homes for horses, ponies and donkeys in Scotland.
It is currently facing large financial problems so every penny made is very important.
The ceilidh will run from 7.30 pm to 12.30 pm.
