THE corridors of the Whitehills Health and Community Care Centre in Forfar are adorned with the latest artwork featuring the work of three local artists.

Staff, visitors and patients can now view the contrasting works created by Vicki Hepburn from Tannadice, Jean Wilkie from Oathlaw and Angela Hamper from Fern.

The centre is showcasing a selection of their 26 colourful art works featuring oil and watercolours, etchings as well as intricate mosaics.

Artwork capturing scenes from as far away as Australia, New Zealand and West Africa sit happily alongside traditional landscapes of Skye, Montrose, Arbroath and Tannadice.

Exhibitions at the centre began in 2005 and are changed regularly every eight weeks.

Exhibitors donate 20% commission on all sales to the Whitehills Arts & Environment Fund.

All money raised is used to enhance Whitehills’ environment for patients, staff and visitors.

The exhibition opened last week and will run for two months.
