Forfar West End are sixth in the table following a 3-0 win over Coupar Angus at home - their first following three straight defeats.
The first goal didn’t come until the 32nd minute when David Stillie opened the scoring with a powerful header from a Ramsay corner. This settled the home side’s nerves who then wasted a number of chances to increase the lead.
As the home side went in at half time with a slender lead they came out in the second period looking to add to it. The next goal eventully came when substitute Pirie found space on the right and his low cross was met by Hart to bring it to 2-0.
Then the afternoon was concluded when the gaffer rose the highest to head home and secured all three points for the Strathmore outfit.
Daryl Mckenzie was happy with the three points as his side didn’t put in the best performance but ground out the result.
West End will be back in action on Saturday, January 4 away to Thornton Hibs with a 1.30 p.m. kick off.
