FORFAR Boys Under-10s continued their good run of form with two more fine performances in the sunshine at Tayport on Sunday.
The visitors dominated the first game from start to finish with Robbie Davidson giving them the lead in nine minutes after his long-range effort beat the keeper.
Liam Jones rounded the goalie for the second before Lewis McSherry came close when his shot was turned away for a corner.
McSherry did get on the score-sheet early in the second half when he made it three after a fine move.
Jones then added two more in the latter stages to complete his hat-trick, while Aaron Morrison fired through a ruck of players in the final minute to make it six.
Team - Noble, Miller, Forbes, Morrison, R. Davidson, Fleming, Jones; subs - Balfour and McSherry.
In the second game Forfar again attacked from the start and were unlucky in front of goal on several occasions.
Robbie McLauchlan came close with a header while Jack Neave saw his shot beaten away by the Tayport keeper.
Calum Kelman hit the crossbar before Forfar broke the deadlock on 14 minutes when Daniel Harrison and Neave combined to send McLauchlan through on goal to beat the keeper.
Lewis Davison was defied by the on-form Tayport goalie at the start of the second half but Forfar extended their lead when Neave set up McLauchlan for his second of the game.
Adam Macdairmid’s close-range effort on 35 minutes made it three before Tayport pulled one back with two minutes to go.
McLauchlan volleyed over from a Macdairmid cross in the closing stages.
