FIFTEEN members of Forfar and District Hillwalking Club had a grand day out in Glenmoy on Sunday.
They walked over the hills in brilliant sunshine to arrive at an estate lunch hut where they all enjoyed a refreshing drink (or two) and a buffet which had been prepared earlier and transported up to the hut.
A very social afternoon was spent sitting in the sun - eating, drinking and chatting together.
The previous weekend eight members cycled into Geldie Lodge from Linn of Dee to climb the remote Munros of An Sgarsoch and Carn an Fhidhleir.
The group enjoyed great views north to the Cairngorms, south to Beinn a Ghlo and west to the unmistakable twin summits on Ben Cruachan.
The next event is a car treasure hunt on Monday, June 4. Please check website for details - www.fdhwc.org
