Junior cricket coaching for eight to 14-year-olds begins at 6.15 p.m. on Monday, October 28 at Whitehills Primary School.

The sessions will be run by Strathmore Cricket Club and led by qualified cricket coaches. They are open to anyone in the age group, whether they have played cricket before or not. Anyone who wants to give the game a try will be made welcome.

Each session will include a mix of coaching to develop skills and a variety of cricket based games played for fun.

The cost of each session will be £1 for existing cricket club members. New participants will be able to join (and pay a half year membership fee of £10) or pay a higher weekly fee of £2.

All equipment required will be provided by the club and all that participants need to do is turn up dressed for indoor sport.

The first session will run from 6.15 p.m. to 8.15 p.m. The length and timing of subsequent sessions may vary depending on the number and ages of children there.
