Lintrathen Loch has continued giving great sport since it opened and the catches over the past week have been more than satisfying to the anglers who have been out.
The breezes have kept the rainbows down two or three feet below the surface resulting in the best catches going to anglers fishing slow glass or intermediate lines.
The best catching flies have been Cormorants, Black Snatchers, Yellow Dancers and White Fritz, fished very slow to almost static. Some anglers have been taking decent brownies late in the afternoon up on the surface but have returned the majority.
