Scotland’s top bike racing competitors are set to head to Knockhill this weekend and there will be two Angus representatives hoping for glory.
Bruce Birnie from Montrose returns to superbike action after a short retirement in the opening round of the Knockhill Motor Sports Club Championship.
Forfar’s Grant Reid moves into the Mini Twin class after winning the 2014 Formula 400 Championship.
Birnie will be competing in the Club Championship against the likes of defending Scottish champion Andrew Tasker, runner-up Donald MacFadyen and Tim Hastings.
Reid’s opponents in the lightweight class will be F125 and GP125 Champion Gillian McGaw and multiple-time Scottish Champion Torquil Paterson.
Tickets for the event can be booked online via the Knockhill website, with all pre-booked tickets to advanced booking discounts.

Saturday: Adult - £5, Concession - £4, Family - £14 and Kids under 12 go free.
Sunday: Adult - £13, Concession - £8, Family – 34 and Kids under 12 go free.
