Swimmers from Forfar Amateur Swimming Club had a very successful weekend at the SASA Midland District Championships (B Grades) at the beginning of November.
There were 14 gold, 12 silver, and 11 bronze medals won between the 23 swimmers taking part in the event, and 19 A grade championship times.
Medal winners were Alex Guthrie (five gold medals), Zoe Wilmshurst (two gold, a silver and a bronze), Sarah Niblock (two bronze), Ashleigh Niblock (a silver), Beth Milne (a silver), Holly Richardson (a silver and two bronze), Kirsty Richardson (a bronze), Niamh McSheffrey (a gold and a bronze), Callum Brown (three gold), John Watson (one gold, five silver and a bronze), Jack Green (a gold), Luke Millar (a bronze), Calum Kelman (a silver), Cameron Murray (a silver and a bronze), Mac Whyte (a gold and a bronze) and Rohan Brown (a silver).
Too fast (A-grade) certificates were presented to Beth and Karri Milne, Kirsty Richardson, Callum Brown, Jack Green, Mac Whyte, Calum Kelman, Chloe Reilly, Becky Laird, Becky Wilmshurst, and Rohan Brown.
There were also some great swims from Zara McBean, Lucy Richardson and Matthew McSheffrey.
