FORFAR Athletic came back to earth with a bang on Saturday, after three straight victories, going down by two goals to nil to ten-man Dumbarton.
The Loons were a pale shadow of the side that did so well on the road over the past fortnight.
Coach John Young, standing in for manager Dick Campbell, felt that complacency slipped in after such a good run.
“The commitment was there but the quality was missing. I am disappointed in the manner of the goals we lost.”
Forfar will bid to bounce back this coming Saturday when they travel to take on East Fife, then there will be yet another weekend break before Arbroath visit Forfar on Saturday, October 15.
