Scene is set for
title showdown
THE West End Bar will host the Cricket Club in a Forfar Domino A League showdown this Wednesday (tonight).
The teams are locked together on 21 points, three clear of the Victoria A, with just the one set of fixtures to play.
In the B League, the Plough A are red hot favourites to win the title, but they can still be caught by the Queen Street A.
Last week’s results were as follows:-
A League - Strathmore B 8, West End bar 8; Cricket Club 8, Queen Street B 8; Victoria A 12, Strathmore C 4; Legion 9, West End Social Club A 7.
B league - Queen Street A 6, Victoria B 10; Masons 9, Bar Central 7; West End Social Club B 10, Plough B 6; Plough A 10, Thistle Bar 6.
