LOONS HEAD FOR HAMPDEN ON ALBA CUP DUTY

FORFAR Athletic will be making an early season trip to Hampden Park on cup duty.

Having received a bye in the opening round of the Alba tourney the Loons have been drawn to meet Queen's Park.

Dick Campbell's side will head for Glasgow - as the only Angus team remaining in the Alba Cup - on Tuesday, August 10, the game kicking-off at 7.30 pm.

The full second round draw is as follows:- Queen's Park v Forfar Athletic; Ayr United v Cowdenbeath; Ross County v Morton; Partick Thistle v Berwick Rangers; Dunfermline Athletic v Queen of the South; Stenhousemuir v Dundee; Peterhead v East Stirlingshire; East Fife v Stirling Albion.
