LETHAM ARE SIX HITS IN AMATEUR LEAGUE

LETHAM Hotel were top scorers in the Forfar and District Sunday Amateur League programme at the weekend.

They hit AS Tutties for six, while Craw's Nest went nap at home to AFC Plough.

There were victories, too, for Thrums Hotel, Finavon Hotel, Millgate Bar and Strathmore.

Sunday's results were as follows:-

League - AS Tutties 0, Letham Hotel 6; Craw's Nest 5, AFC Plough 3; Crown Inn 1, Thrums Hotel 3; Finavon Hotel 1, Dalhousie Hotel 0; Millgate Bar 3, Kirrie Thistle Social Club 3; Strathmore 4, Abbey Athletic 0.

This Sunday's fixtures are as follows:-

Consolation Cup first round - AFC Plough v Thrums Hotel (A. Smith, Lunanhead); Finavon Hotel v AS Tutties (G. Adams, Lochside); Kirrie Thistle Social Club v Letham Hotel (D. Muir, Martin Park); Millgate Bar v Crown Inn (I. Cooper, Hercules Den). Matches 90 minutes then straight to penalties if the game is still level.

League - Dalhousie Hotel v Strathmore (W. Ferguson, Carnoustie); Abbey Athletic v Craw's Nest (K. Beats, Victoria Park).
