LETHAM PROGRESS IN TAYSIDE COMPETITION
LETHAM Hotel were the only one of four Forfar and District Sunday Amateur League sides to progress in the Tayside Sunday Amateur Cup oat the weekend.
Letham got the better of Lochee Central, but there were third round cup k.o.'s for Strathmore, Finavon and Craw's Nest.
Sunday's results were as follows:-
Tayside Sunday Amateur Cup third round - Dundee SC 4, Strathmore 3; Ferry Inter 2, Finavon 1 (after extra time); Letham Hotel 4, Lochee Central 3; Sandy's 4 Craw's Nest 7.
League - AFC Plough 1, Kirrie Thistle Social Club 5; Abbey Athletic 4, Crown Inn 1; Dalhousie 1, Millgate 2; Thrums Hotel 7, AS Tutties 5.
This Sunday's fixtures are as follows:-
League - AS Tutties v Letham Hotel (A. Kennedy, Hercules Den);
Craw's Nest v AFC Plough (G. Adams, Carnoustie House); Crown Inn v Thrums Hotel (M. Reid, Arbroath); Finavon v Dalhousie (K. Beats, Lochside);Millgate v Kirrie Thistle Social Club (A. Smith, Hercules Den); Strathmore v Abbey Athletic (M Harrison, Lower Steele). All kick-offs are 11 am.
