Hilson nets as Forfar draw

FORFAR Athletic had to settle for a share of the spoils at home to Dumbarton on Tuesday evening (tonight).

In a fast flowing game the Loons had a couple of early chances but also survived to scares before taking the lead on the half hour mark.

Dale Hilson was the marksmen, making no mistake from the revound after the goalkeeper had beat out his initial shot.

Dumbarton were back on level terms in 44 minutes, Prunty netting with a crisp shot from the edge of the box as Forfar failed to clear their lines.

Both sides had their chances as the wind got up in the second period, but, in the end, a draw was perhaps a fair result.

Forfar are next in action at East Fife on Saturday.
