FORFAR MAKE IT 20 POINTS FROM 24
A SECOND victory five days - and three in eight - has pulled Forfar Athletic clear of third placed Berwick Rangers in the table.
Indeed, Dick Campbell's men - having racked up 20 points from a possible 24 in an unbeaten league run that stretches over three months - are now eyeing second top spot, with East Stirlingshire just five points in front.
Having had to work hard to get the better of Elgin City in midweek, the Loons continued their fine league form with a comfortable win over Queen's Park at the national stadium on Saturday.
Barry Sellars scored his first goal for the club since his new year return, putting Forfar in front after only six minutes.
The home side's task was made even more difficult when Ricky Little was sent packing for a professional foul on Ian Harty, but they did succeed in levelling through a Barry Douglas free-kick in 64 minutes.
However, four minutes later, the visitors were back in front, thanks to a Paul Watson headed effort, Ian Harty sealing all three away points with a third goal in 72 minutes.
This Saturday, the Loons entertain Stranraer, while, on Tuesday evening of next week they make the trip south to take on Annan Athletic.
