Tremendous result for Lowson

Lowson Utd 16,

Edzell Ath 0

Lowson United played second division side Edzell at Lochside and progressed to the second round with a convincing display with some good goals and playing attacking football.

Edzell began the game looking positive on the ball but it did not last long once Lowson scored their first through a Finlay cross which was well finished by R. Hampton after 10 minutes.

Lowson scored another four by half time with Finlay scoring his first goal for the club followed by Thompson and two by Cammy Howie, who also missed a penalty, blasting the ball over the bar, to go in at half time 5-0 up.

Lowson continued pressing forward and scored another 11 goals to overrun the spirited Edzell side with two more goals by Cammy Howie, R. Hampton, Massie, three by Calum Howie, Thompson, Crichton and two by Rhys Milne.

Lowson now entertain Premier league side SS Peter and Paul in round two in October.
