THE directors of Forfar Athletic Football Club are delighted that long serving shirts sponsors Orchard Timber Products have agreed to continue their sponsorship for a further season.
“This will be the sixth season that the progressive locally-based company, which also has branches in Livingston and Aberdeen, will have backed the company in this manner and it is greatly appreciated by all connected with the club.
Universal Telecom, who severed their links with the town earlier in the year, will not be continuing with their back of shirt sponsorship under their G5 branding.
However, the Buckinghamshire company, which has supported the club in many ways over the past decade, including being main sponsor for a couple of seasons, will continue to back the club and has, in fact, put up a superb golfing holiday for two in Southern France as the main item in the auction at the sportsman’s dinner on May 20.
Any company or organisation interested taking over the back of shirt spot is asked to get in contact with any club official, secretary David McGregor being available on 07871165689.
The cost is not prohibitive and various other benefits are available within the overall package.
