FOLLOWING the welcome away victory at Stenhousemuir on Saturday past - the first since mid-September - Forfar Athletic can look forward to three home games in the space of eight days.
The Loons play host to league leaders Cowdenbeath to Station Park this coming Saturday, with Dumbarton in town on Saturday, January 28.
Sandwiched in between, on Tuesday of next week, with a 7.30 pm kick-off is a home match with Stirling Albion, one of a number of fixtures postponed due to inclement weather in December.
The games give Dick Campbell’s men the opportunity to start working their way out of the relegation zone in what is an extremely competitive league.
Reflecting on Saturday’s late come-back to clinch all three points at Ochilview, Campbell said: “We were staring defeat in the face with 13 minutes to go, so I had to do something and went three at the back and three up front.
“We haven’t had many breaks this season, but we had some on Saturday.”
Two-goal hero, Chris Templeman, (pictured right) added: “We showed a lot of character to come back twice and even more to go on and eventually win the game.
“Hopefully, this will be the lift we need to get our league campaign back on track.”
