SNOW is continuing to cause a headache at Station Park.

While the groundsmen have been working hard to keep the pitch clear banks of snow are now surrounding the pitch leaving little room for further clearance.

As the club do not have a tractor with lifting equipment, or a suitable bogie to remove the snow, they are looking for someone who can help out.

If you have equipment that can be used to take snow away please contact the club on 01307 463576.

Meanwhile, Forfar Athletic are making every effort to keep the pitch clear to stay open for the many clubs that use the artificial pitch.

Over the last few weeks frost was the major problem and this was overcome by frequent brushing and expensive salt application.

Since the first snow, Bob Charlton and Martin Gray have been making every effort to keep the pitch clear and will continue to do so over the winter months.
