Mixed fortunes for Farmington

The Farmington Premier League side won their first point of the season after a fine away performance against an experienced Queen’s Park.

It took two late goals by the Glasgow outfit to deprive the Angus kids of victory (see full report on page 55).

In the S.W.F.L. Cup, Farmington Reserves went down 4-0 at Livingstone but there was a 2-1 victory for the Under 17s against local rivals Jeanfield, Jodi Allison getting both counters.

The Under 15s also put one over on their Perth counterparts with a 7-0 win, goals coming from Robb (3), Thomson, Millar, Hogan and Ramage. The Wildcats 15s had an impressive win 7-2 win against a resolute East Fife. Derrian Gollan ran riot with five goals, Patterson and Flynn completing the scoring

In the Under 13s’ game Forfar Flyers came out 7-3 winners against Broughty Utd. with doubles from Robbie, McCallum and Clark and a single from Carnegie.

At Riverview Park Forfar Falcons Under 11s came out on top against a hard working Monifieth. 

The Forfar goals were shared amongst Guthrie, Glennie, Rennie, Allison and Neave.
