Forfar West End grabbed their second win of the season away to Kinnoull in a five-goal thriller.

The visitors’ goals came courtesy of Darren Scott and Matthew Ramsay before an own goal gave them the three points.

Kirrie Thistle were on the losing side for the first time this campaign as they lost 2-0 at home to Scone Thistle.

The hosts looked to have taken the lead when Smith found the net but the ball was adjudged to have gone out of play in the build up.

The first goal of the game did come soon after though, Scone taking the lead after a perfect ball by Mitchell was smashed home on the volley by Lafferty past Knox.

Scone got a second before the break, Lafferty crossing unchallenged for Doig to head home.

Forfar Albion continue to edge closer to their first points of the season, this time losing out 3-2 away to Kirkcaldy YM.
