Forfar Athletic manager Gary Bollan won’t be making any additions to the squad in the next couple of days.

However the Station Park boss said he is hoping to add three or four more players to his squad before the competitive season begins with the League Cup group stage starting on July 16.

It’s a home tie against Dumbarton that day before the trip north to Peterhead on Tuesday, July 19.

East Fife visit Station Park on Tuesday, July 27 before Forfar finish their group campaign away to Premiership outfit Dundee on July 30.

Gary said: “There’s nothing imminent happening in terms of signing just now, though we are still looking to add.

“We were back at training on Tuesday evening and I think we’ll have 13 first team players and a number of youth players.

“We’re looking to add three or four more before things get competitive. The League Cup starts early so the sooner we can add to the squad, the better, but we’re not alone in that.”

As previously announced Forfar Athletic season tickets for the forthcoming campaign will go on sale for the first time at Station Park on Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. within the 1984 Lounge.

There is a small reduction in the cost of adult and senior citizen tickets for the season ahead to compensate for the fact that in common with most SPFL clubs, Loons briefs will this term only be valid for the 18 home league fixtures and friendly matches played by Forfar Athletic at Station Park.

Prices are as follows:-

Stand – Adult £190 Senior Citizen (i.e. 65 & over) £95 Under 17’s £70 Under 12 ‘s £30
