Gary Bollan believes a draw was the correct result after Saturday’s goalless draw between Edinburgh City and Forfar Athletic.
The sides will soon have played each other in three successive games and the Loons boss thinks they will be sick of each other after this coming week.
Forfar will face City in the league at Station Park this weekend before hosting them in the Scottish Cup replay on Tuesday, November 1.
Both sides had chances to win the game however Bollan feels neither side fully deserved to win.
He said: “I think over the piece a draw is a fair reflection of the game, I felt it was fairly even.
“I felt in the first half we were in control although they had the best chance of the half.
“Edinburgh City gave it a wee go in the second half, they had efforts from long range but in the end I felt we created chances and we should have scored.
“We’re still in the cup but we’ve got a replay to get through, we’ll be sick of seeing each other as we play them in the league this week as well as the following Tuesday.”
The Loons have now failed to win in four matches but the manager is not yet ready to start worrying.
He added: “There isn’t really any disappointment at the run, if you look at the league we’re still at the top, still clear at the top and still in the cup.”
