Goalscorer Chris Templeman says fans can expect the same tight League One season as last year with nothing between any of the sides.
Templeman grabbed the only goal in Forfar Athletic’s 1-0 win over Airdrieonians on Saturday after just 88 seconds, giving the Loons three wins and three clean sheets from their competitive games so far.
The experienced target man believes every game is going to be a tough proposition in a league he says is just as competitive as last year’s.
Chris said: “It was a good start. I think we played better in the first half and Airdrie were the better side second half.
“The ball moved in the air a bit for my goal, I thought the centre half had it but it came back to me. So I’d say it was wind-assisted. It must be my quickest goal, it usually takes me 88 seconds to get that far up the park.
“My ambitions are the usual, just take every week as it comes. There are lots of good teams in this league. You can go on a run and win a few but equally, if you’re not playing well you can lose a few.
“We’ve just put what happened in May behind us. That’s football. We’ve started again and we’ll see how we go. Everybody’s just about the same level and everyone has to be playing well.
“I’d expect the same tight league again, I don’t think there’s much of anything between any of the teams.”
