FORFAR Athletic kept their heads above the relegation water-line on Saturday when they shared the points with lowly Albion Rovers.

Dale Hilson put the Loons ahead inside two minutes when he struck a spectacular effort into the top-left hand corner from Chris Templeman’s knock-down.

However, the advantage was short-lived, Rovers levelling through a John Gemmell headed effort three minutes later.

Forfar were back in front in the 22nd minute, Chris Templeman volleying home a Greg Ross cross.

In the second period, the home side went in search of a second equaliser and Robert Love levelled matters 12 minutes from time with fine strike from the edge of the penalty area.

Forfar are back in action on Tuesday evening (tomorrow) when they play hosts to East Fife, with Stenhousemuir at Station Park on Saturday.
