Forfar Athletic defender Mikey Dunlop grabbed his first goal for the club on Saturday - then set his sights on netting at least five.
The 21-year-old defensive utility man headed the Loons in front against Stenhousemuir after just 11 minutes, following Scott Smith’s excellent corner.
And Dunlop said he wants to score even more for Dick Campbell’s title-chasing outfit.
Dunlop said: “It’s great to get my first goal for the club. I’ve been here for three years and I was at Berwick on loan for the whole of last year.
“I heard it when I went up for the corner, ‘Oh who’s got four?’ and as soon as you hear that shout you know nobody’s got an eye on you, and I got a free run.
“I wouldn’t mind getting five for the season, that’s my target.”
Dunlop’s opener at Ochilview Park was followed by Stephen Husband opening up his own Loons account in the second half with a 30 yard free kick that curled into the top corner.
The comfortable 2-0 win means Forfar have returned to the top of Scottish League One, with Greenock Morton going down 2-0 at Stranraer.
Mikey was pleased to see the Loons go back into first place after all the hard work that has gone into what has so far been an excellent league campaign.
He continued: “We’re chuffed with that, it’s another three points and we’re back to the top of the table.
“We’ve worked hard to be there and it’s good to be there again.
“Everybody’s buzzing, it’s great for any club to be top of the league but it’s still early yet - there’s a lot of work to be done.”
