Brechin City manager Ray McKinnon was pleased with the result after his side deservedly beat Forfar Athletic 2-0 on Saturday.
Jamie Masson and Alan Trouten got the goals as the Hedgemen extended their stunning unbeaten run to 11 games.
And McKinnon paid tribute to Masson who has now returned to Aberdeen following the end of his loan spell at Glebe Park.
Ray said: “It’s a tough place to come. We’ve played well against Forfar this season. I thought we were very good, we played some nice stuff and I’m really pleased with the result.
“We wish Jamie Masson all the best, he’s away back to Aberdeen and he’s been excellent for us. Hopefully he can break into their first team.
“He’ll be missed but we’ve got a lot of good players at the club, and hopefully Kyle McAusland will be coming back from Rangers soon. We’ve got a strong squad.
“A lot of credit has to go to the players.”
