Albion in share at Arbroath

THE two local junior sides were in action at the weekend, with Forfar Albion earning a draw on the coast and Kirrie Thistle going down by a solitary goal to Montrose Roselea.

At Arbroath Vics, Albion found themselves trailing to Craig Watson strikes before half time, but they rallied to reduce the leeway through Scott Fullerton and eventually earned a two-each drawn when Mark McIntosh netted twenty minutes from time.

At Montrose Roselea, Kirrie Thistle lost out to a solitary James Collier strike thirty minutes in, the same player passing up a spot kick to add to the lead.

This coming Saturday, the East North League action continues.

Forfar Albion entertain Lochee Harp, while Kirrie Thistle Social Club are at home to Dundee North End.

The games kick-off at 2 pm.
