Another three points in the bag

Dundee East .........................0

Lowson United ....................3

Lowson produced a decent performance on a difficult playing surface to collect another three points in this league match against Dundee East.

Lowson pressed East on the back foot and made some good scoring chances in the first half.

With the Lowson manager disappointed not to have scored a few goals when they were on top of the game the second half started off slowly with East the better team. They were causing the Forfar side problems with their forward play and crosses into the penalty box with the home forward just failing to get a touch.

The game changed when R. Hampton was brought down for a penalty kick with an East player shown a red card for dissent.

Lowson at last scored with Patullo scoring with a good left foot drive that shot past the ‘keeper with 15 minutes to go.

Hampton scored a second soon after with a shot into the corner. Subs were then made with Hampton off with Middleton and Ritchie on.

The visitors scored a third with Thompson sending Ritchie clear to score by finding the top corner.

Rhys Milne came on for the last 10 minutes for Calum Howie.
