ABBEY Athletic won by the odd goal in nine against Finavon to go three points clear at the top of the Forfar and District Sunday Amateur League division one.
In the second flight, Corner Hotel lead the way after going into seventh heaven against Thrums in another high-scoring affair.

Sunday's results were as follows:-

Division One - Kirrie Thistle Social Club w/o against FC Porty; Cliffburn Hotel
1, Dalhousie 1; Finavon Hotel 4, Abbey Athletic 5; West End Social Club v Strathmore (match postponed).

Division Two - Park Bar 0, AFC Tutties 4; Corner Hotel 7, Thrums 5; Millgate 3, Burns Bar 2; Crown Inn 2, Vollies 2; Letham Hotel 5, AFC Plough 4.

This Sunday's fixtures are as follows:-

Division One - Cliffburn v Finavon (A. Kennedy, Victoria Park); FC Porty v Abbey Athletic (G. Ferguson, Hercules Den); Dalhousie v Strathmore (I. Cooper, Carnoustie House).

Division Two - AFC Tutties v AFC Plough (G. Adams, Friockheim); Crown Inn v Corner Hotel (A. Smith, Victoria Park); Letham v Burns Bar (P. Prophet, Letham); Park Bar v Vollies (M. Harrison, Brechin); Thrums v Millgate (M. Reid, Martin Park).
