FORFAR West End will have home advantage in a replay of their Scottish Junior Cup third round this coming Saturday.
At Whittletts Vics on Saturday they came away with a nil-nil draw to continue their interest in the national tourney.
It was a decent result in Ayrshire considering West had to play the final 20 minutes of the game with ten men after top striker Bryan Duell had been red carded.
In the East North League, Forfar Albion recorded their first victory of the campaign when they got the better of Brechin Vics by three goals to one.
James Forbes gave the home side the lead, but Albion hit back through a Matt Reynolds double and a great strike by Ian Plenderleith to move on to the seven point mark for the season, just one behind Brechin Vics and Downfield.
Kirrie Thistle maintained their unbeaten record with a two-nil victory at home to Arbroath SC.
The goals that counted came late in the game, through a Kris Morrice penalty and Ian McKenna.
This Saturday, Kirrie Thistle are at Brechin Vics and Forfar Albion entertain Dundee Violet.
