FORFAR Athletic manager Dick Campbell promised he would have new faces in the squad for Saturday's trip to Albion Rovers - and he has been true to his word.
On Thursday evening the Loons completed a triple swoop on players from near-neighbours Arbroath.
Thirty-four-year-old Barry Sellars returns to Station Park for a second spell, the midfielder being joined at Station Park by striker Paul Watson (aged 24) and 25-year-old central defender Jamie Bishop.
Both Barry Sellars and Jamie Bishop have strong connections with Forfar.
Barry was only recently appointed a director of Astute (Scotland) Limited, one of the north-east of Scotland's largest suppliers of printed, marketing and promotional materials, based at Orchardbank Business Park, while Jamie's parents are Forfarians and his grandfather still lives in the town.
A five-figure fee is understood to have been involved in bringing to Lichties trio to Forfar, with Dick Campbell hinting at two more new faces being brought in prior to the closure of the January transfer window.
