Forfar Boys U-10s were again in dominant form as they notched up two more fine performances against Brechin at the academy playing fields on Sunday.

Robbie Davidson gave the home side a third-minute lead in the first game, turning his man on the edge of the box and firing past the static Brechin goalie.

Jack Neave added a second on ten minutes after his first effort was blocked by a defender.

The visitors keeper prevented Cameron Fleming from getting on the score-sheet but Lewis McSherry scored a fine individual effort on the quarter-hour mark to make it three.

Neave added his second on 18 minutes when his long-range effort went in off the post.

Forfar continued on the ascendancy in the second period, with Euan Miller firing over the crossbar and Robbie McLauchlan coming close from a Davidson cross.

A flowing move between Davidson and Fleming ended with Neave beating the keeper from the edge of the box to complete his hat-trick.

Brechin scored a consolation in the closing stages.

Team - Noble, Balfour, Miller, Fleming, R. Davidson, Neave and McSherry; subs - McLauchlan and C. Davidson.

In the second game Liam Jones came close on two occasions before a quick-fire double from Aaron Morrison inside the opening six minutes gave Forfar a healthy advantage.

The hosts continued to press with Sean Tait unlucky when his curling effort was tipped round the post by the keeper.

Calum Kelman came close too as Forfar tried to build on their lead while Jamie Noble pulled off a fine save to deny Brechin.

The visitors did, however, find themselves on the score sheet on 23 minutes but Forfar knuckled down and added two more through Adam Macdairmid - the first from close range, the second from the edge of the box after a fine pass from Tait.

Team: Noble, Harrison, C. Davidson, Morrison, Tait, Kelman and Jones; subs - Short, Macdairmid and Forbes.
