THE generosity of the company in attendance at a recent double golden wedding celebration has resulted in a cheque for £400 being presented to Angus Cardiac Group.
At a presentation held at Forfar Lochside Leisure Centre, Netta Foreman presented the cheque to Gordon Snedden, vice-chairman of Angus Cardiac Group.

The money was given by friends and relatives who attended the celebration to mark the golden wedding anniversaries of Jim and Netta Foreman, from Forfar, and Jim's brother David and his wife, Margaret, from Australia, in the Plough Inn in mid-April.

"This is a very generous donation from Netta and her family and is very much appreciated by the Angus Cardiac Group," commented Gordon Snedden.

"The money will help those affected by cardiac disease both in Angus and further afield. The group raises money by donations such as this and also by sponsored events and coffee mornings.

"The money is used to help in the rehabilitation and support of those affected by heart disease and also to augment cardiac and exercise equipment used by health professionals and instructors in Angus."

Anyone in Angus who has been affected by coronary heart disease and who would like more information regarding Angus Cardiac Group can visit the website - www.anguscardiacgroup.co.uk.
